Who Are We and Why Does it Matter?

BEYONDNLP has been one of Australia's leading training providers for over 7 years now. Our trainer, Gordon Young, is the former Chair of the Australian Board of NLP, and President of the Australian Society of Clinical Hypnotherapists, as well as the former Editor of the prestigious Australian Journal of Clinical Hypnosis and Hypnotherapy.  

He is recognised as a leader within the industry, is one of the few Australians who has been trained at the legendary Milton Erickson Foundation in Phoenix Arizona, and appears on the faculties of both national and international conferences. 

Our branch of NLP is unique - hence the name. At BEYONDNLP we have created a synthesis of approaches including Emotional Intelligence, leadership, advanced communications, hypnosis, psychotherapy, quantum physics and the work of Eckhart Tolle to enhance the NLP experience. This blend of approaches offers a more wholistic and digestible form of NLP that is strong and yet compassionate.

Why is it important that you know and understand how we approach NLP? Because NLP can be taught in so many ways, and can be "slanted" in different directions, effectively changing some of the key learnings of the field. 

Our approach has come from what works. We are not interested in what is perceived to be right or wrong from a purist view. If it works for you, then do it - that's our approach. We are very very experiential in our trainings with over 70% of class time dedicated to practical skill based training. 

Some NLP is taught as an 'epistomology' (the study of a study) You can study NLP almost like arithmetic with formulas and complex theory.  If this type of training appeals to you, stop reading now, you are in the wrong place.
